145 Mile Grand Union Canal Race

Well after an unexpected email this week I have been offered a place in one of Britain’s longest single stage non stop ultra’s.

The Grand Union Canal race is 145 mile race from Central Birmingham to Central London, that’s just over 5 and a half marathons back to back all with a time limit of 45 hours. I’m really looking forward to this event and it will be great time on my feet in training for JOGLE. I’m a little nervous as its sort of sprung up on me and well I’m a little unprepared but I’m sure it’ll all go fine and I’ll either run, jog, walk or crawl over the finish line. A little extra thing to the event is that I’ll be meeting up at the start with 3 other Buff Athletes Rich, Alex and Mimi. Who knows what to expect….. BRING IT ON !!!!!!!
